  • After 2 mins, add the chicken stock and let it cook for about 5minutes. Let it turn to a thick sauce.
  • Seperately take bread and cover it with butter on both side and fry it on the pan till golden brown.
  • Take a plate and place the bread. Put a spoonful of the mushroom sauce on each of the bread and mayonnaise on  top of each bread.
  • Garnish it with grated cheese!

  • Salt
  • Time : 15 minutes

Heres how you make it:

Heat oil and add bastard seeds oh sorry mustard seeds to it. When it splutters add kadi patta, garlic and chill. When you get the aroma of the tadka add haldi and masala.
After 5 seconds ass the tamato n salt . Fry till tamato gets soft and oil starts to surface.
Then add one cup water and bring to boil for 7 minutes or so.

Thats it. Tamato curry is ready. I believe this is how Navga mai used to make it.
And dont call it tamato curry in front of the people who are goin to eat it, coz they will think you were lazy to cook something good, so you should call it 'Rasam'.

Ingridients:

Procedure:

First day:

Soak idli rice in warm water enough for the rice to soak in the morning  around 8 -9 am.
Also soak the udal dal separately in warm water at the same time. The same day at 8 'clock evening grind the idli rice to a fine batter in the mixer. Now grind the udad dal with very little water to a thick paste. Mix the idli batter and the udal dal battter togather , add salt and mix thoroughly. (**do not add lot water like dosa. It should be a thick paste). Let it stand until next day morning with a covered lid.

Next day:

Mix the batter properly and take a little batter {enough for one set of idlies (11-15)} in a bowl.
Add a half spoon of eno to this and mix properly. Now keep the idli container with a little water on the gas and boil it . Place the batter in idli moulds and cover it. Steam it on HIGH flame for 15 mins.
